Areas to consider including within the library:

• Reception/loans desk
• Childrens books
• Young adults books
• Periodicals
• Reading areas
• Internet connected computers
• Viewing areas, for dvd’s etc, could be combined with above
• Reference books??
• Staff facilities, lunch room, toilet
• Public toilets
• Administration office
• Meeting rooms for rent
• Data and comms room
• Lifts and stairs 

I think I'll go down to the local library on Tuesday, to see if I can glean some more information from the staff.
