This last few weeks have been a bit of a nightmare. My mother took a turn for the worst on Saturday June 10, and the doctor advised she would be lucky to see the end of the week. Given this journal is being updated after the fact, Mum died last Thursday night, June 14, at 11:30 pm, approximately 36 hours after I presented what I had developed so far. Not a great deal, as I had trouble focusing on what was needed because of the circumstances.
My lecturer, Yasu Santo, has granted me an extension to Monday June 18, of which I am very grateful. I thnk Yasu and my tutor, Brett Hudson, for their understanding during this period.
